All In Place in 2025: Coming of Age in a Changing Profession
As we approach the end of 2025, one thing feels very clear. This has been a pivotal year for All In Place.
It has been a year of progress, challenge, reflection, and ultimately confidence. A year where the platform, the team behind it, and the firms using it have all taken a significant step forward.
If we had to describe 2025 for All In Place in a single sentence, it would be this:
We’ve come of age.
A Year of Building What Actually Matters
2025 has been a demanding year for the accounting profession. The pace of change has continued to accelerate, uncertainty has remained high, and the pressure to adapt has been relentless. Many predicted that 2024 and 2025 would be transitional years for the profession, and that prediction has proven accurate.
Against that backdrop, All In Place has focused on something very deliberate: helping firms get closer to their clients at a time when that closeness matters more than ever.
Over the course of the year, we built and shipped a number of new features, but one stands out above all others.
The Personal Balance Sheet: A Turning Point for Client Conversations
The introduction of the personal balance sheet has been transformational for our member firms.
For many business owners, the business numbers are familiar territory. Profit, turnover, cashflow. What is far less common is stepping back to look at their full personal financial position in one place. Assets, liabilities, dependencies, risks, and resilience.
By bringing this together in a structured, visual way, firms have been able to unlock deeper, more meaningful conversations with clients. Conversations that go beyond compliance and into planning, priorities, and real-life outcomes.
For many firms, this feature has fundamentally changed how they engage with clients. It has helped reposition accountants not as product-driven service providers, but as trusted advisors who genuinely understand the person behind the business.
And just as importantly, it has laid the foundations for much more impactful work heading into 2026.
A Profession Rediscovering Its Human Side
One of the most encouraging themes of 2025 has been what we have seen across the wider profession.
Yes, technology and AI continue to dominate headlines. But behind the noise, there has been a clear and growing recognition among firms that the future is not just about better tools. It is about better relationships.
More and more accountants are consciously reestablishing the trusted advisor role. Getting closer to clients. Understanding their lives, their pressures, and their goals. Being the person clients turn to when decisions feel uncertain.
This shift away from a purely product-driven mindset and back towards human connection is not only overdue, it is exciting. It represents a profession that is becoming more commercially minded, more entrepreneurial, and more confident in its value.
All In Place has been built specifically to support that movement.
Strengthening the Platform and the Community
From an internal perspective, 2025 has also been a year of significant progress.
Across the year, and particularly in the second half, the team behind the platform has grown stronger. The platform itself has matured rapidly, and the All In Place community has expanded with engaged, forward-thinking firms who share a common belief in putting the human first.
That combination of a stronger team, a more capable platform, and a growing member base has put All In Place in a very strong position as we look ahead.
Looking Ahead to 2026
If 2025 was about coming of age, 2026 is about momentum.
Early in the new year, we will be shipping a major new feature: Client Requests for Information, alongside a brand-new client app. Together, these will fundamentally change how firms interact with their clients, making communication clearer, more structured, and more human.
Alongside this, we will continue working closely with our member firms to build out practical collateral, refine client journeys, and help deliver genuinely exceptional client experiences.
Because for us, the principle remains the same.
Technology should enable better relationships, not replace them. The human should always come first.
Thank You
To every firm that has worked with us this year, thank you. Your engagement, feedback, and willingness to try something different have shaped what All In Place has become.
2025 has been challenging, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. And as we head into 2026, we are more optimistic than ever about where the profession is going and the role All In Place can play in helping firms get there.
We look forward to welcoming new firms, supporting our existing members, and continuing to show what the All In Place way really looks like.
