Post pandemic and the cost of living crisis, many businesses owners have little visibility on their personal finances, as impacted by higher taxes, inflation and interest rates, bringing the role of accountants centre stage. For these business owners, tools such as All in Place, support the value and service proposition of their accountants, combining business and personal finances in one place.
Richard Bertin, All in Place Founder and CEO, said, “We are delighted that Will has chosen to join the business in a formal role. He is the genuine article having built a digital accountancy practice and recently merged his business with a top 20 accounting firm. Will is a pioneer in his field and passionate about helping fellow professionals build a “digital firm”, whilst remaining focused on the human aspects of a client centric business.
“Furthermore, we are delighted to have attracted Richard Brewin, one of the best in our camp on understanding how small accountancy firms can extend their service propositions and are excited about working together on the next stage of our journey.”
Will Farnell commented, “I have known Richard Bertin for a number of years and believe that he has a shared vision on how the accounting profession can strengthen its human relationships with clients, particularly learning from how the financial services industry goes about its “know your client” process.
“As firms become better equipped building their digital solutions for their clients, and with AI set to provide firms with more time to spend with their clients, I feel the need for firms to adopt a structured approach to the humanising of the client relationship has never been so paramount, and am excited about how I can make a positive difference, with the leader in that field - All in Place.”
Richard Brewin, commented, “Having worked with many dynamic accounting firms over the last few years, since leaving practice, I am delighted to join the team at All in Place and help them scale their proposition. The profession has managed a lot of change and had to be agile over the last few years.
However, so have clients, and the opportunity to lead on a client-centric model and reaffirm our role as the trusted, indispensable adviser is close to my heart.”
The role of the accountant in navigating their clients’ personal and family financial affairs continues to evolve, with All in Place ideally situated to help. Even when regulatory advice is required, the accountant has all the necessary detail to make an appropriate referral by way of a one-stop shop.
