All in Place and LifeSearch partnership puts protection at the heart of SME financial wellbeing

All in Place, the platform helping accountants connect business and personal finances, has announced a new strategic partnership with LifeSearch, one of the UK’s leading protection advice specialists.

The collaboration enables accountancy firms to help their SME clients access independent, fee-free life insurance and business protection advice directly through the All in Place platform. The goal is to make protection a seamless part of wider financial planning, helping accountants offer a more complete service that supports their clients’ wellbeing and long-term security.

A shared mission to support UK business owners

“Firstly a big shout out to Ed Axon and the team at LifeSearch” said Richard Bertin, CEO and Founder of All in Place, on announcing our strategic partnership, “They have gone the extra mile to work with us. LifeSearch is one of the leading protection brokers in the UK, and together, we know there is a real opportunity to help business owners at a time when many are facing significant challenges. Kudos to the team at LifeSearch. We really appreciate everything you have done to make this partnership possible.”

The partnership builds on All in Place’s mission to help accountants support their clients more effectively. Research conducted by All in Place in May last year revealed that 78% of UK accountancy firms rarely or never conduct risk assessments to review their clients’ protection against ill health and early death. This leaves many business owners and their families exposed to potentially serious financial consequences.

Through this new partnership, All in Place firms can now connect clients directly to LifeSearch’s specialist business protection advisers, who source tailored cover from an extensive range of insurers. Accountants can therefore address their clients’ personal and business protection needs without needing in-house expertise, while ensuring clients receive qualified, independent advice.

Bridging the advice gap

“Business owners are diligent about protecting their buildings, equipment and legal liabilities, but often overlook one of their most valuable assets: themselves,” said Ed Axon, Chief Growth Officer at LifeSearch. “This partnership with All in Place is a major step forward in helping accountants integrate protection into the financial conversation. Together, we can close a critical gap that leaves families and businesses vulnerable, and help clients protect what matters most.”

All in Place has also launched All in Place Now, a standalone service that connects accountants and their clients directly to trusted specialists like LifeSearch. This enables firms to signpost clients quickly and confidently to quality advice, with no extra admin burden.

“Business owners are often time and cash poor,” added Richard Bertin. “They want peace of mind and a clear route to trusted advice, not endless research or confusion about where to start. All in Place Now gives accountants and their clients a simple way to reach the very best protection experts when they need them most.”

Real results for accountants and their clients

Georgina Rollings, Co-CEO at Starfish Accounting and an All in Place client, was part of a pilot test of the LifeSearch service.

“We had a level of critical life cover in place with a previous broker, but we have been blown away by the more comprehensive offering at a lower price that we have been able to source through LifeSearch,” Georgina said. “It has given us real reassurance for the future, and having been through a simple and convenient process with the LifeSearch team, we can now highly recommend it to clients who need protection for themselves, their families or their businesses.”

Working together for stronger client relationships

The partnership between All in Place and LifeSearch represents a natural alignment between two organisations committed to improving financial wellbeing for UK business owners. By combining All in Place’s integrated business and personal planning platform with LifeSearch’s specialist protection advice, accountants can provide more complete, proactive support for their clients.
